 We have in-house software that we use to
read the log files of our pick and place
machine, as well as our Off Line Programmer
(used to install parts on the pick and place
machine). We use this data to automatically
adjust our inventory based on parts that
were installed on the machine, and parts
the machine has consumed. This lets us keep
an accurate running total of our inventory.
The same in-house software also has parts
lists for every board we build, and is able
to tell us how many of a specific product
we can build with the current inventory count. Although
we prefer to do all of the buying for
every product we make, we do not insist
upon it. We are willing
to work with any customer that would choose
to do their own parts procurement. Our inventory
is flexible enough to maintain a separate
inventory for your company, either in full,
or simply of the unused portion of reels
from a previous run.
