Weigh Scale This board is
called a Weigh Scale. It is the micro controller
for a plastic blending
system. The current version of this board
uses a ROM and RAM for it’s program.
A new version of this board is in development
that will be more readily updated / reprogrammed
(in the same manner as the Dryer).
I/O board This is a generic input / output board
called an I/O board.
RTD board This is a RTD board. It is a striped down
version of the I/O board. It is used as a
temperature sensor with another product we
manufacture.
Clear Vu loader board This is a Clear Vu loader board. This is
part of a vacuum loading system for plastics.
Digital Pot board This is a Digital Pot board. This board
uses an optical encoder for user input, and
has a digital display to indicate settings
to the user. It communicates to another product
we manufacture, and sends out a dc voltage
to yet another product.
Dryer board This is a Dryer board. It is the micro
controller for a plastic drying system. This
board has capability of firmware (flash memory)
updates by the end-user. This can be accomplished
with either a PC, a Palm Pilot, or with a
flash memory card that we manufacture.
Flash card This is a Flash card. This is used to update
firmware on other products.
Loss In Weight board This is a Loss In Weight board. It takes
a setting from a digital pot board, and controls
the speed of an extruder to adjust the amount
of through-put of plastic being dispensed.
MLAN / Dongle board This is an MLAN / Dongle board. It is a
proprietary communications board and dongle
board for one of our customers.
Copy Vender board This is a Copy Vender board. This board
was re-engineered for a company that had
a very old, through-hole design. It is used
in vending machines with card scanners to
purchase products with a swipe card. They
are also used as stand alone devices to re-charge
cards.
Pump / Extruder board This is a Pump / Extruder board. This is
a board that powers a motor as a peristaltic
pump. It can be set to run at a specific
speed, for a certain length of time, or controlled
from an outside signal.
Thumbwheel board This is a Thumbwheel board. Though it is
not apparent on the photo, the back side
of this board has surface mount parts on
it. This board is used as an input to a few
products for one of our customers.
